Bandon, often called Bandon-by-the-sea, is a quaint village nestled on the Southern Oregon Coast. Old Town with several 19th century buildings is populated by craft shops, galleries, restaurants, and bakeries. And it is a stroll away from the Ocean and the Port of Bandon boat basin.
Bandon was founded on the toil of loggers, fishermen, and cranberry farmers. Today the principle economic picture is focused on vacation recreation and sport fishing. The Bandon Dunes Golf Course is world class and attracts people from far away.

This tiny cottage in downtown Bandon houses the most romantic little restaurant in town. The lace curtains and roses in the garden all say English country cottage, though the building itself looks more like an old Northwest fisherman's cabin. The menu here wanders all over the world, though it emphasizes Mediterranean and Asian flavors. However, highlights include a pistachio-crusted halibut and a Latin-style flank steak.
